If you have a chronic disability or illness you may be exempt from VAT under current HM Customs and Excise rules - we provide a description of the VAT status for all our items in the shop to help you decide when making your purchase. If you qualify for VAT Exemption then you will need to complete the "VAT Exemption Declaration" during the buying process prior to placing an order.
Although we offer a "Guest Checkout" facility on the site for those people who do not wish to register before placing an order, please be aware that VAT Exemption cannot be offered during "Guest Checkout" and you will be charged the full VAT on your order.
You may be exempt from paying VAT on certain items under the following circumstances:
- An Individual: If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products you purchase are for your personal use.
- A Charity: Where the goods are made available by a charity to a disabled person for their personal use.
- On Somebody Elses Behalf: If you are buying a product for a chronically sick or disabled person & the product is for their personal use.
If you are unsure, please contact us and we will advise you.
